You will drive architectural innovation, oversee cloud-native transformations, and ensure the seamless delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing trading systems. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned technologist with proven expertise in .NET, AWS, Dockerized and Microservices architectures, and Big Data-driven systems.Key Impact AreasTechnical Leadership & StrategyLead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams in an Agile environment.Define and execute the technical roadmap aligning with IC Markets’ global trading platform strategy.Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and accountability.Cloud & Architecture ModernizationArchitect and manage the migration of legacy systems into modern cloud-native environments.Implement Dockerized microservices, event-driven architectures, and Big Data pipelines for scalability and resilience.Leverage AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, S3) to drive operational efficiency.Hands-on Engineering ExcellenceProvide expert guidance on distributed systems, data streaming, and containerized application development.Optimize SQL-based systems and integrate them with modern cloud infrastructure.Champion CI/CD automation, container orchestration (Kubernetes / ECS), and infrastructure as code.Delivery & Operational PerformanceDefine and monitor key engineering KPIs, ensuring high system reliability and team productivity.Oversee end-to-end Agile delivery cycles, ensuring on-time, within-budget project execution.Required Experience & Expertise: 7+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in technical leadership roles.Proven experience with Dockerized architectures, Microservices, and Event-Driven Systems.Deep technical knowledge of the .NET Framework, SQL, AWS Cloud, and distributed systems.Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.Technical Stack MasteryLanguages/Frameworks: .NET, C#Cloud & Tools: AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, S3), Docker, Kubernetes, ECSArchitecture: Microservices, Event-driven, Big Data, Domain-driven designDatabases: SQL (optimization, scaling, migration)Highly Preferred: Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional global teams.Exposure to AI/ML integration in trading or financial platforms is an advantage.Immediate / Early joiners.
