Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Real Estate Investment Group (Limassol-based)A dynamic real estate investment group with operations in Cyprus and abroad is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its small but dedicated team in Limassol. This private company invests in both real estate entities and assets and offers a professional and collaborative work environment. In this role, you will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the bookkeeper. You will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions for a group of companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, VAT and tax submissions, and supporting internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and record all accounting and bank transactions in Priority ERP. Reconcile data and transactions across multiple group entities. Review prepayments, accruals, and intercompany balances and transactions. Assist in the preparation and timely submission of VAT returns. Support month-end closings for group companies. Assist with the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, summary tables, and reconciliations. Communicate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and service providers. Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the Group Accounting Supervisor or Head of Accounting. Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; ACCA part-qualified or equivalent is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in the FX industry or similar financial sectors. Solid knowledge of IFRS and general tax and VAT principles. Experience working in international and fast-paced environments. Proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions and data. Experience with setting up processes in Priority ERP – an advantage. Fluent English is a must; Russian is an advantage. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of Priority ERP is a plus. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
