AREA 35 is a Tokyo-based development studio specializing in cutting-edge Unreal Engine solutions across games, animation, and enterprise applications. We are expanding our Enterprise Division, which builds and deploys real-time visualization tools and digital human technologies, including ENHUMAN and Paraverse, for clients in industries such as construction, automotive, and media.As adoption of our enterprise products accelerates, we are looking for a Project Manager to oversee client implementation projects, coordinate internal teams, and help lay the operational foundation as these products transition from custom deployments to SaaS platforms.ResponsibilitiesManage the planning, scheduling, and progress tracking of multiple enterprise product projects, from initial scoping to delivery.Coordinate across engineering, design, and production teams to keep projects on track and resolve bottlenecks quickly.Oversee implementation timelines and deliverables for enterprise clients, ensuring alignment with agreed specifications and milestones.Serve as the primary communication bridge between clients, internal teams, and external partners.Translate client needs into clear internal tasks and maintain strong alignment throughout project lifecycles.Support administrative tasks such as contract coordination, licensing, and documentation.Contribute to establishing workflows, documentation standards, and operational frameworks to support scaling enterprise projects.Work closely with product leadership to provide feedback from real-world deployments, informing the eventual transition to SaaS offerings.Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and client experience.RequirementsCurrently residing in Japan, or eligible for visa sponsorship (Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of verifiable work experience in a relevant role).Native-level Japanese proficiency (or JLPT N1 with near-native fluency) and strong business-level English are required. This role involves frequent client interaction in Japanese, including meetings, documentation, and contract coordination.3+ years of project management or production coordination experience in one or more of the following:Unreal Engine or real-time 3D development projectsEnterprise software implementation or SaaS deploymentRelated fields such as architecture, construction visualization, or technical production in entertainmentStrong understanding of creative and/or technical production workflows.Proficiency with standard business software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Comfortable working in cross-disciplinary, international teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing small to mid-sized teams or multi-stakeholder projects.Familiarity with Unreal Engine, digital twin technologies, or real-time visualization pipelines.Prior work in industries such as AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), automotive, or visualization tools.Exposure to SaaS business models or product operations.Remuneration & Work ConditionsCompetitive base salaryTwice yearly bonusesNational Health Insurance and Pension support (社会保険) in JapanJapanese VISA Sponsorship for foreign applicants40-hour workweek, flexible hoursNo regular overtimePaid Holidays + Public HolidaysPaid commute while residing in Japan (by public transport)Interested candidates, please apply through LinkedIn with your Resume/CV, along with documentation of any pertinent qualifications and referrals.
