No equipment operating experience is necessary. EVR provides all new employees with extensive internal training. Come experience the opportunities for career growth and advance your knowledge in the mining sector!The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.Schedule: 4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nightsIn this role, you will: Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties Work outdoors in all weather conditions Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid class 5 driver’s license Previous heavy equipment operations or industrial experience is considered an asset Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.About EVREVR is a Canadian steelmaking coal producer. The high-quality steelmaking coal EVR produces is an essential input for steel that can be used for constructing products such as wind turbines and critical infrastructure including rail, bridges, hospitals and schools.Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
