About the JobJob DescriptionThe Hygiene Manager plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation across Creekside Hotel, Dubai. This position ensures that all hygiene and health protocols meet both local regulatory requirements and international hospitality standards, safeguarding guest wellbeing and reinforcing the hotel’s reputation for excellence.The role collaborates closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping teams to monitor hygiene compliance, conduct regular inspections, and lead continuous training on food handling, sanitation, and HACCP practices. The Hygiene Manager also serves as the hotel’s key liaison with Dubai Municipality and external auditors, ensuring full compliance and timely reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor the hotel’s Hygiene and Sanitation Management Plan in line with Dubai Municipality and UHM standards.Conduct regular inspections of all F&B outlets, kitchens, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with hygiene protocols.Lead food safety initiatives and HACCP implementation, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are maintained.Oversee pest control programs and coordinate with external service providers for compliance and effectiveness.Conduct training sessions for culinary, stewarding, and service teams on hygiene standards, food safety, and personal sanitation.Monitor water quality, dishwashing standards, and waste management processes to prevent contamination and ensure safety.Prepare and maintain hygiene audit reports, temperature logs, and compliance documentation for internal and external review.Liaise with Dubai Municipality inspectors and ensure readiness for all inspections and health audits.Drive continuous improvement in hygiene culture across departments, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.Skills and RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.Certified in Basic and Advanced Food Hygiene (Level 3 or above).Excellent organizational, training, and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and audit capabilities.Ability to work collaboratively across departments to foster a culture of hygiene excellence.
