Environmental Specialist – Air Quality FocusIndustrial / Manufacturing | Multi-Site Support | Compliance & Continuous ImprovementAn established industrial manufacturer is seeking an Environmental Specialist with a strong emphasis on air quality compliance and regulatory reporting. This role partners closely with site-level EHS and operations leaders to provide technical guidance, ensure adherence to federal/state permitting requirements, and improve overall environmental performance across multiple facilities. Ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of field interaction, advisory influence, and program-level execution.Key Responsibilities • Serve as the subject-matter resource for air emissions, source testing, permitting, and compliance reporting • Advise site teams on environmental priorities using regulatory and technical knowledge • Interpret and communicate evolving regulations to ensure consistency and adherence • Support incident investigations, documentation, and corrective actions • Assist with permitting requests and approvals • Support EMS initiatives and alignment with ISO 14001 frameworks • Provide training, onboarding, and cross-functional environmental coachingQualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field • Minimum 3+ years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting • Strong knowledge of federal/state regulations with a primary focus on air quality programs • Experience with air, water, and waste programs; Title V or state-level permitting strongly preferred • Familiarity with ISO 14001 or other EMS platforms
