Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The role is primarily based in Birmingham, with some work from home acceptable. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety policies, and providing safety training to employees. Other day-to-day tasks include monitoring workplace safety, managing occupational health initiatives, and conducting regular inspections. Qualifications Skills in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)Knowledge of Workplace Safety practices and standardsExperience in Safety Training and certification processesExcellent understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirementsStrong communication and leadership skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldRelevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are a plusPrevious experience in the demolition or construction industry is desirable
