Role Description: The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring programs and policies that ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while minimizing risk and promoting sustainability.Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. The EHS Specialist monitors compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including occupational safety, environmental protection, and industry standards. They support incident investigations, track safety metrics, and develop training programs to educate employees on safe practices and environmental stewardship.The role requires collaboration with management, employees, and external agencies to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. The EHS Specialist analyzes safety and environmental data to inform policies, improve operational practices, and mitigate risks.
