At ME Elecmetal, we take pride in our people, our craftsmanship, and our commitment to creating solutions that power progress and build a better future.Position Purpose: The Process Engineer – Environmental will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and coordinating production standards and methods to ensure optimal utilization of resources while meeting customer and environmental requirements. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing manufacturing costs, minimizing scrap, enhancing product quality, and improving operational efficiencies to achieve company goals.Key Responsibilities:Support process and equipment improvements by identifying operational issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending engineering solutions to enhance production performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems, standards, and procedures that drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.Assist in coordinating all aspects of production, including manufacturing methods, process optimization, and product design improvements.Contribute to the supervision and technical support of production personnel as needed.Develop performance requirements and specifications for engineering and process improvement projects.Conduct research, testing, and analysis on equipment, components, and systems to evaluate performance and reliability.Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to implement operating procedures, improve product quality, and resolve technical challenges.Support activities related to the installation, startup, and validation of new equipment or systems.Ensure compliance with ISO standards, including adherence to the Quality Policy Statement and Quality Control Procedures Manual.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline required.Proven ability to identify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives.Working knowledge of foundry operations and equipment preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with data analysis and process monitoring tools a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and drive change collaboratively across teams.
