EPAM is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, designers and strategists in collaboration with one of our insurance industry clients. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge business application that streamlines the end-to-end underwriting process—from request registration, calculation and risk assessment to final approval.

ResponsibilitiesElicit, analyze and manage requirements from stakeholdersCommunicate and facilitate discussions with stakeholders (product owners, business analysts from different countries and companies:

US, Switzerland, India, Poland, Belarus)Possess and manage the Product Backlog by defining, prioritizing and refining tasksPossess a deep understanding of the product structure, business processes and data modelConduct Product Backlog refinement/grooming sessions to clarify and update requirements, decompose tasks and formulate acceptance criteriaAssist the development team in interpreting and clarifying requirements, decomposing tasks and formulating acceptance criteriaBuild and maintain the project documentationHelp the QA team with manual and acceptance testingRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a system or business analystProficiency in working with specifications, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, as well as experience in conducting requirements elicitation, analysis and managementUnderstanding of requirements lifecycle and requirements quality criteriaExperience in business process and data modelingAbility to build, compose and structure the project documentationUnderstanding the software development lifecycleTechnical background with an understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful APIs and database designExcellent communication and analytical skillsWe offerPrivate healthcare insuranceGlobal travel medical and accident insuranceRegular performance assessmentsReferral bonusesFamily friendly initiativesLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more*All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
