JOB SUMMARYResponsible for working in a team to prepare portfolio analytics and optimization reports across mandates, asset classes, and regions; to assist in fund allocation proposals, risk assessments and new mandate setup; and to provide data analysis, market monitoring, and technical support for investment meetings and presentations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESTo prepare reports on portfolio analytics and optimisation analysis by mandates, asset classes and geographical. To prepare report in analysing and conducting proposal for the fund allocation for EFM Department. Generate the risk assessment report ie. ex-ante tracking error for the global and domestic equity mandates.
Monitor market conditions and assist in evaluating investment opportunities. To gather, process, and analyse large sets of financial data (i. e. performance, holdings, benchmark, risk data). Involve the preparation of proposals for establishment of new mandates and manager selection. Involve in compilation of industry data, market research and regulatory requirements for investment mandate established. To provide administrative and technical support in fund allocation meetings and presentations. Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor from time to time. QUALIFICATIONSMalaysian citizenObtain a pass in Bahasa Malaysia, including oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
Possess a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Accounting, Business Management, Banking, Finance/Investment or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions. Candidates with at least 2 years work experience in portfolio analytics involving process of evaluating and interpreting performance, risk and composition using data-driven techniques and has a beginner or an intermediate proficiency in various tools of advance software platforms and programming languages for various asset class. Candidates with at least 2 year’s work experience in investment management, portfolio strategy and financial analysis would be considered.
