Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Head of Section and Unit in engaging with borrowers, issuers, fund managers, brokers, agent banks, consultants, arrangers, and regulators on fixed income investment proposals and corporate exercises. Conduct research and credit assessments on fixed income securities, including periodic reviews and timely recommendations. Evaluate investment proposals and prepare recommendations for Management and Panel approvals. Coordinate with internal departments to prepare and finalize investment documents in line with approved terms. Monitor economic indicators, market trends, credit ratings, and corporate developments that may affect portfolio performance. Provide impact analysis and timely credit views on rating actions or material news.

Prepare regular and ad hoc performance reports for Management and Investment Panel. Attend townhalls, meetings, site visits, and conference calls with issuers, fund managers, and other stakeholders; prepare reports when needed. Promote effective teamwork and ensure compliance with departmental SOPs. Perform administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (e. g. banks, consultants, trustees, solicitors). JOB REQUIREMENTSThe Candidate shall have: Malaysian citizen. Bachelor’s Degree from any local or overseas universities which recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) with a minimum CGPA 3. 25 or 2: 1 class above.

Passed SPM examination or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government with credit in Bahasa Malaysia. At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit research/ specific deal origination/ Fixed Income investment or other investment related fieldsPerformance oriented, capable to offer new ideas and articulate. Analytical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in both Malay and English. Self-starter with ability to work as a team to deliver consistent and good quality outcomes within stipulated timeline and according to the internal processes in place.
