Senior Accountant

Equifind are working alongside a prestigious and high growth global financial services business, who are expanding across all levels, and all operations globally. Since inception they now boast over 2000 staff globally with over 36 languages spoken making it an incredibly rich and diverse business. Given the nature of a global business, you will be part of the real estate, private wealth and corporate services division reporting into the head of the team, and managing 2-3 juniors.

You’ll be focussing on technical accounting, analysis, working alongside tax advisors, building accounting processes and shaping the direction of accounting projects locally and globally.

As a result, they are looking to bring in a Senior Accountant to support this growth!What will you be doing?Manage daily accounting tasks for a range of diverse global clientsAssist with audit preparations, including VAT returnsTracking and monitoring the preparation of financial informationEnsure accuracy with routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clientsProactive identification of process improvement and service line development opportunitiesCarrying out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controlsSupport and mentor junior team members and take on additional tasks as neededWhat are we looking forChartered accountant - ideally 0-1 years post qualification experienceReal Estate or Private Wealth experience ideal, but not a prerequisiteProcess improvement/automation mindsetWillingness to get involved in the detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhat's in it for you?Base salary £65,000 - £70,000Annual discretionary bonusHybrid working - 2 days in office per weekHome office budget27 days annual leave, plus bank holidayEmployer pension contributionLife assuranceMedical insurance
