🌟 We're Hiring: Equipment Manager! 🌟We are looking for an experienced Equipment Manager to Managing the entire life cycle of mining equipment (equipment life cycle management) — from planning needs, procurement, utilization, and maintenance, to disposal — to ensure equipment productivity, cost efficiency, and reliability in order to support production targets and the sustainability of mining projects📍 Location: Jakarta, Indonesia⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office💼 Role: Equipment ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesKey Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Equipment ManagementDevelop strategies and policies for mining equipment (heavy equipment) management, including maintenance systems, replacement, and technology upgrades.Prepare short- and long-term equipment master plans in line with project needs and production targets.Set equipment KPIs such as availability, utilization, mean time between failure (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR). Operational ManagementEnsure equipment operates optimally according to production standards and mining HSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) regulations.Supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.Evaluate equipment performance daily/weekly/monthly using an equipment performance dashboard.Control operational equipment costs (fuel, spare parts, maintenance, downtime) to stay within budget. Operational Coordination and SynergyCoordinate with production, maintenance, supply chain, and finance divisions to ensure equipment needs are met efficiently.Build relationships with heavy equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, etc.) to optimize technical support.Support HSSE functions in implementing safe operation procedures and conducting regular equipment inspections. Equipment Systems and Data DevelopmentImplement digital monitoring systems for equipment (fleet management system, telematics, IoT-based monitoring, GPS tracking, fuel sensors) to enhance operational control.Develop equipment cost analysis and productivity benchmarking across projects.Analyze life cycle costs (LCC) and return on equipment investment (ROI). HR and Team DevelopmentFoster and develop competencies of mechanics, operators, and equipment supervisors.Prepare technical training plans related to heavy equipment maintenance and the latest technologies.Cultivate a disciplined, efficient, and safety-oriented work culture.QualificationsQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or Mining EngineeringExperienceMinimum 10 years in the mining industry (mining contractors, mining services, or EPC), with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing heavy equipment.Technical CompetenciesEquipment Management System (EMS) & Fleet ControlMaintenance Planning & Reliability EngineeringCost Control & Asset Lifecycle ManagementTelematics & Equipment Data AnalyticsSafety Management Systems (SMK3, OHSAS)Managerial CompetenciesStrategic PlanningDecision Making & Problem SolvingLeadership & Team DevelopmentVendor & Contract ManagementAdditional Certifications (Preferred)POP / POM / POU Mineral Mining CertificationsMaintenance Management Professional (MMP)Certified Equipment Manager (CEM)Soft SkillsAnalytical, decisive, disciplinedAble to work in remote mining locationsStrong cross-functional communication
