Job Description

Job PurposeAs an ERP Senior Specialist- Functional at OSN, you will lead the implementation, optimization, and continuous enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO).Your primary focus will be on finance and supply chain modules, ensuring business processes areeffectively streamlined and aligned with organizational objectives. You will collaborate with keystakeholders, drive system adoption, and provide training and support to maximize operationalefficiency.Key Accountabilities: Implementation and CustomizationLead the end-to-end implementation of D365 FO Finance modules, including General Ledger,Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management,Subscription billing & Tax.Customize and configure D365 FO Finance and Supply Chain modules to meet business requirements.Manage data migration from legacy systems and ensure data integrity.Work with technical teams to integrate D365 FO with other enterprise systems.Configure and optimize financial dimensions, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions.Assist in the setup and configuration of taxation and compliance reporting within D365 FO.Business Process Analysis and OptimizationAnalyze current financial and supply chain processes, identify gaps, and propose enhancements.Align business requirements with system functionalities, ensuring best practices.Develop and document business workflows, process models, and financial reporting structures.Recommend and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.Evaluate and configure workflow approvals for financial transactions.Training and SupportConduct training sessions for end users to ensure system adoption.Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and recommending system enhancements.Create user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to support business users.Develop self-service reporting capabilities using Power BI and embedded analytics.Continuous Improvement & ComplianceStay updated with the latest D365 FO features, updates, and industry trendsEnsure system configurations align with financial compliance, IFRS, and local regulatory reporting standards.Collaborate with finance, procurement, and supply chain teams to refine business strategies aligned with system capabilities.Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.Identify and drive opportunities for process automation within D365 FO.Data Management and IntegrationAssist with data migration activities to ensure accuracy and consistency during the implementation phase.Collaborate with technical teams to integrate D365 FO with other enterprise systems and tools, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.Work with data entities, dual-write integration, and virtual entities to support real-time data synchronization.Configure data import/export processes using Data Management Framework (DMF).People Excellence (internal/external customer engagement and relationship management)Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.Provide functional support to internal stakeholders, including troubleshooting issues and guiding end users on system functionalities.Work with external partners and Microsoft support to resolve complex functional challenges and implement advanced solutions.Actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring deliverables meet end-user expectations.Deliver training and functional guidance to team members and stakeholders on system features and business process improvements.Serve as the key liaison between finance, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure successful system adoption.Qualifications, experience, skills and competenciesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on experience with D365 FO or AX, specializing in finance and supply chain modules.Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant (MB-310) preferred.Industry Experience: Experience in media or retail industries is a plus.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including IFRS and GAAP compliance.Expertise in configuring financial dimensions, cost allocations, fixed assets, and cash flow forecasting.Proficiency in creating workflows, writing functional documentation, and modeling business processes.Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.Familiarity with Electronic Reporting (ER) framework for business document customization.Knowledge of D365 FO reporting tools, including Management Reporter and Financial Insights.Understanding of dual-write integration and virtual entities for seamless data synchronization.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.Strong documentation and presentation skills for functional training and user adoption.
