Job Description
Role Purpose The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate cost estimates for Civil or MEP works. The role supports the tendering team by delivering technically sound and cost-effective proposals that align with project requirements and company strategy. It requires strong technical understanding of Civil or MEP activities and the ability to analyse and validate quantities, pricing, and market conditions. Key Accountabilities Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Prepare BOQs and detailed estimates for Civil or MEP works. Request and analyze quotations from civil suppliers and subcontractors. Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Collaborate with architectural and structural or MEP teams for quantity surveying. Contribute to the preparation of technical and financial proposals. Attend clarification sessions and provide technical input as needed. Participate in value engineering and cost benchmarking efforts. Keep estimation records and pricing databases up to date. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree in civil , Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Civil or MEP estimation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD. Strong understanding of Civil or MEP construction practices and material pricing. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and teamwork skills.
