This role is key to our success — preparing detailed, accurate cost estimates and proposals for a variety of construction projects while working closely with our project teams, subcontractors, and clients.What You’ll DoPrepare accurate, well-organized estimates and proposals for Stipulated Price, Design-Build, and Construction Management projects.Analyze drawings, specifications, and contractual terms.Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analyses.Source and organize subcontractor and supplier quotations, , and ensure alignment with project documents.Develop and track project budgets and schedules.Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.Conduct post-bid reviews and monitor bid performance and success.Prepare proposal content and support proposal development What You BringDegree or Diploma in Engineering or a Construction related Technology (or similar education)5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft O365; On-screen takeoff software; Sage or related estimating software experience is an asset.Thorough understanding of all facets of construction, from design through delivery. What We OfferCompetitive salary with annual bonus potential.100% employer-paid comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, optical) and a company-matched pension plan.Vehicle allowance.A collaborative, respectful culture built on teamwork and excellence.Visit www.westridge.ca/careers to apply or learn more.Applicants must be fluent in English and legally eligible to work full time in Canada.
