We put people first, care fiercely, earn trust with science and solve with courage – and have brilliant opportunities waiting for you!Role reports to: Ethics & Compliance Officer Central EuropeLocation: Neuss, GermanyTravel %: ~10%What You Will DoThe Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Lead Specialist will support the E&C program within Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine and Baltics). This role requires a professional, who can partner closely with commercial and marketing teams to incorporate a strong E&C program within business processes. We are looking for someone who is a champion of change and motivated to drive continuous improvement. You will ensure that monitoring, mitigation and correction actions are in line with changing business needs and reflect the external environment and risk profile of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesFor assigned countries within the Central Europe Cluster:Manage the E&C program, promoting compliance with the company’s ethical standards and relevant regulatory requirementsReport E&C program status to the cluster and country Leadership Teams and partner with senior business management to drive a culture of compliance within the organizationHandle ongoing risk assessment, mitigation and management of compliance risk; manage Management Action Plans (MAPs) and Disciplinary Action Plans (DAPs) appropriate to the nature and extent of the deviationsCollaborate with key stakeholders to drive new business initiatives and integrate compliance within business processes, providing commercial and pragmatic advice to support business growthManage compliant engagement with Health Care Professionals, Government Officials, Third-Party Intermediaries (TPI), including implementation of appropriate Due Diligence, training and TPI lifecycle managementFor All Countries Within The Central Europe Cluster:Manage post monitoring activities to ensure effective controls and mitigations are defined based on monitoring resultsOversee management of internal TPI Due Diligence (DD), acting as point of contact for our business partners to facilitate completion of DD process and ensure oversight of use of TPIs This position description is an outline of the major recurring responsibilities of the job.
