ETL Tester

Job Description: Key Responsibilities:Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.Write and execute complex SQL queries on Snowflake and Teradata for data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.Validate data migration, transformations, and data integrity between source and target systems.Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL workflows.Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.Conduct data profiling, data quality checks, and test automation where applicable.Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and defect management.Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.Required Skillset:4–6 years of strong experience in ETL testing.Hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Teradata (SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, or others).Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for large datasets.Experience in data migration and validation across heterogeneous sources and targets.Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.Experience in test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, qTest, etc.).
