If yes, you’re at the right place – the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) is searching for a Project Assistant to work on the EUPL 2026 edition!The EUPL is an annual initiative that awards emerging fiction writers in Europe, with the aim of promoting the circulation of literature across borders, and to encourage greater interest in non-national literary works. The Project Assistant will take part in all the activities of the EUPL and will be an essential support for the Consortium that runs the project.Some Of The Key Tasks IncludeOverall support to the management and implementation of the projectOrganisation of the annual Award CeremonyOverseeing and coordinating the production of the annual anthology of the PrizeCoordinating with the Consortium’s partners for the organisation of events involving the EUPL authors in book fairs and other venuesWriting in coordination with the Consortium’s partners, the final implementation report to the European CommissionLiaising with relevant stakeholders/third parties and coordinating their involvementSupport event managementSupport for the Prize communication strategy, dissemination and visibility, especially through social media and trade pressAdministrative supportYour profileStrong experience in event organisation and able to work independentlyAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlines and within an international/multicultural environmentProactive, hands-on personalityStrong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skills and strong command of social mediaComputer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with working with Canva and Drupal is an asset, as well as some knowledge of video/audio editingExperience working within the EU institutions, or relevant consultancies, trade associations or NGOs is an assetExcellent command of written and oral English is a must; other languages are an asset, in particular FrenchStrong interpersonal skillsA real interest in culture/literatureHow to applySend your CV and a cover letter (max. one page) in English with email subject “EUPL Project Assistant 2026 – Your name” to info@fep-fee.eu by Thursday, 27 November 2025 at 18:00.
