We are looking for a Java Team Lead (m/f/d) in Zagreb, Osijek, Split or Croatia remote to join our team. #EvidenWe are seeking an experienced Lead Developer with a minimum of 10 years of software development experience to join our dynamic team focused on creating innovative cybersecurity software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the specified technologies and demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role will involve leading a team of 3 to 5 developers while collaborating closely with the product owner and lead software architect based in France.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environmentDesign, develop, and maintain cybersecurity software using Java 17 or above, Spring Boot 3, PostgreSQL, and Angular 8 or aboveCollaborate with the product owner to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on timeOversee the Agile development process using JIRA, ensuring task estimation and accurate follow-upManage version control and CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitLab CIUtilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applicationsCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing updates and reports on project progressSupport team members in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues autonomouslyEnsure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and software development lifecycleRequirementsA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar — or equivalent experienceMinimum of 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on cybersecurity solutions> Proficiency in the following technologies:

Java 17 or abovePostgreSQLSpring Boot 3Angular 8 or aboveGitLab / GitLab CIDockerStrong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with international teams, Croatian nativeProven experience in Agile methodologies, specifically using JIRA for project management>Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)Familiarity with Oracle DB. >Soft Skills:
