Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.ResponsibilitiesYour Role: As a senior member of the Luxembourg Real Assets team, you will represent the business both internally as part of the Luxembourg senior management team and externally facing off with clients and as required for new fund opportunities as part of the tender process.Client & Fund Management Act as client/fund lead, responsible for all Fund deliverables, ensuring these are presented to the client within agreed timeframes and meet required standards Manage expectations and communications with both the client and RA management when deliverables are at risk, confirming issues, proposed resolutions and timelines for closure Engage and coordinate other Citco teams to ensure deliverable timelines are known and understood, working with teams to resolve issues as they arise Act as liaison with various internal/external parties including auditors and legal counselFinancial Operations & Oversight Ensure teams oversee and assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, partner capital statements, trial balances and work paper products Oversee limited partner and general partner allocations Ensure teams process standard and complex bookkeeping entries and assist in financial analysis preparation Review and understand real estate fund client's partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials to ensure Citco service requirements are followed Coordinate and lead implementation of fund structures onto the accounting systemClient Relationship Management Attend quarterly Client Relationship Management meetings virtually and in person, presenting quarterly overviews covering Fund highlights, services overview, KPIs, issues and material matters Keep clients informed of Citco developments, system and product enhancements for Real Assets and cross-sell wider Citco group products Manage accounts receivable and work with clients to ensure prompt settlement within agreed termsTeam Leadership & Development Manage and oversee Fund accounting teams in Luxembourg, ensuring direct reports understand responsibilities for client deliverables and team management Continuously review team makeup to ensure adequate capacity for existing and future requirements, considering each fund's lifecycle stage (Investing/Divesting) Develop direct reports by sharing experience and expertise to build capable teams for future challenges Assist in designing, reviewing and implementing new and updated policies and procedures, ensuring team communication, understanding and adoptionIndustry Engagement & Platform Development Attend industry conferences to promote Citco and understand industry and regulatory developments, sharing knowledge with local and wider teams Work with Local, European and Global Real Estate management teams in the continuous evolution of the Real Asset platformQualificationsAbout You:Required QualificationsDegree in Business, Finance, or related field Professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or actively pursuing qualification 10+ years of public/private real estate accounting experience Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; competent in MS Word and PowerPointTechnical Skills & ExperienceExperience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of accounting software (MRI, Yardi, or Investran preferred) Limited Partnership accounting experience (advantageous) Understanding of tax-efficient European structures, investment vehicles, and regulatory requirements (advantageous)Professional Attributes Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience Strong written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines Team player capable of managing individual responsibilities Sound judgment and decision-making capabilitiesOur BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
