Industrial Hygiene & Safety (Preferred Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)Experience2 to 4 years of working experience in the chemical / Pharmaceutical / Petrochemical industryLocation: Ankleshwar Site.Job Description And KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop & monitor a comprehensive industrial hygiene program as per company standards & guidelinesTo undertake sampling and measurement of potential occupational hazardsPrepare written technical reports with recommendations for corrective actions to control hazardsIdentified and evaluated exposure to a variety of chemical, physical and biological hazardsConduct health program to recognize, eliminate and control occupational health hazards and diseasesConduct survey & evaluation of exposure to noise / Noise mappingGather and interpret data from sampling chemical, physical and biological stressesPerform surveys involving ventilation.Coordinating medical surveillance programs requires monitoring the health status of employeesConducted briefings on a variety of industrial hygiene and environmental health programsAssist other departments in preparation of HSE related procedures, SOPs, forms etc.Handle all industrial hygiene program areasResolved issues that impact on the health and well-being of the workforceTo ensure interpretation of new and revised occupational health & hygiene legislationTo write and update HSE procedures and reportsTo work with the company medical adviser, management, safety professionals & workforce to achieve occupational health & hygiene targetsAssist HOD in reporting of data on HSE as per site, group and statutory requirements.Organizing and conducting HSE related meetings, training / awareness programs including execution of mock drill & fire drillsAssisting HODs & site management for HSE related accident / incident prevention, investigation, audits, surveys updating data and statisticsAssisting HOD for vendor selection / development for HSE related matters.Technical Skills & Competencies / LanguageStatutory HSE requirements, legislations & its complianceKnown to Qualitative & Quantitative Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessment Good training skillsCommunication & Presentation skillPreferred languages : English, Hindi & Gujarati
