Executive - User Acceptance Testing (UAT), 1 Year Contract

Job SummaryInvolved in data migration, integration, process, and function with limited product scopeJob Description:To read all the Functional Specification documents and understand what needs to be tested and give the inputs to define the scope of the project.Preparing High Level Test Scenario’s based on the Functional Specification documents.Preparing Test Cases based on the Functional Specification documents and Business Scenario.Analyzing the Test Cases (Peer Review) prepared by other testers.Preparing Test Data for the test cases.Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to design comprehensive test cases.UAT/Sanity testing will be performed once the test environment is ready.Executing the Test Cases and update the test results in testing tools.Defect Interactions with Vendors, Business Users, Project Lead and IT teams.Knowledge in Defect Management Tool (JIRA).Participation in Defect Meeting and explain the defects to the QA Manager, Vendors and business stake holders.To raise the defect and giving mandatory information of a defect to developers to fix it.Validating the Defects by ensuring whether the necessary details are present in the defects like screen shots and Test Data Steps.Co-ordinating the defect with Defect / Quality Manager, Development Team and Business Analyst.Getting the update on the deferred defects and the Change Request raised against the defects.Follow up and closure of defects logged during testing cycles.Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.Raising the red flag to QA Manager if anything is going beyond the deadline.Job Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps/In House Tool).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in managing large-scale enterprise data migrations (Integration, financial or legacy systems).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Experience in Insurance industry is an added advantageFresh Graduates are welcomed.This role will be based in our HQ at Pavillion Damansara Height.
