Find out more about working with us .Why this Role?Responsibilities IncludeEnsure the efficient operation of day-to-day activities of the Office of the Assistant Director-General coordinating the daily flow of business and providing confidential administrative and executive support to the Assistant Director-General.Arrange appointments, meetings and conferences including venues, travel arrangements and accommodation, and receive visitors and delegations to the Office.Provide support to the Assistant Director-General at meetings by preparing documentation, minute taking and follow up actions.Maintain effective and efficient liaison between the Office of the Assistant Director-General, the Office of the Director-General and the Minister's Office, senior officers of the department and other government representatives and external stakeholders on matters relating to the division.Please view the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.The Perfect Fit!Technical Skills, Abilities And Cultural CapabilityHighly developed communication skills both verbal and written.Good organisational, interpersonal and time management skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and being professional in any situation.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team collaborating with others at various levels across and outside the organisation and enjoy being part of a team.Experience in managing correspondence as required and ideally familiar with executive correspondence processes.Demonstrate a thorough knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (such as such as Teams, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc) and a capacity to quickly master new applications and programs.Exercise judgment, discretion, and initiative in decision-making by identifying and anticipating potential problems with tasks and take appropriate steps to mitigate risks.Interested?
