You will be the primary operational and administrative partner responsible for optimizing the CEO's bandwidth, managing highly confidential company and personal matters, and serving as a diplomatic liaison between the CEO, the leadership team (COO, CFO, CAO), the Board, and external partners (including M&A targets).This role requires a leader who is humbly confident, deeply values Radical Honesty, and is relentlessly Solutions Driven. If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where your proactivity directly impacts the company's long-term success, this is your opportunity.Key Responsibilities (The Core Focus)Strategic Time Management & Gatekeeping: Serve as the primary filter for the CEO’s time, owning a complex calendar that spans internal operations, strategic planning, investor/M&A meetings, and personal commitments. This requires superior judgment and a deep understanding of corporate priorities.Operational & Board Liaison: Prepare and compile comprehensive materials for Board meetings, executive team meetings, and investor presentations. Record meeting minutes for the Executive Team, tracking action items and ensuring follow-through by responsible leaders.Confidential Communications Management: Draft, review, and manage highly sensitive internal and external correspondence, communications, and reports, often acting as the CEO’s voice with impeccable discretion. Manage all files, documents, and records related to M&A and corporate development.Travel & Logistics: Manage all aspects of complex, multi-city travel (domestic and potentially multi-state/regional) and detailed itineraries. Prepare and reconcile detailed expense reports for the CEO.Special Projects & Research: Conduct research, synthesize complex information, and create executive summaries on competitive intelligence, potential acquisition targets, and industry trends to inform the CEO's strategic decision-making.What You Bring (Skills & Experience)Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives (CEO, President, or Managing Partner), preferably in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or multi-site/multi-state service business.The Right Mindset: A proactive, "anticipatory" style. You don't wait to be told what to do; you see the next two steps and take action with limited direction.Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a proven ability to master new technology quickly. Direct experience with a comprehensive CRM like ServiceTitan or similar operational software is a strong advantage.Unwavering Discretion: Proven ability to handle highly confidential financial, strategic (M&A), and personnel information with the utmost integrity and professionalism.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust tone and style when interacting with technicians, customers, C-Level executives, and financial partners.Why Edelman?
