Do you believe that details matter and want to support a highly engaged team?We are looking for a dedicated, well-organized and customer obsessed Executive Assistant to support the AWS Streaming, Messaging, and Collaboration leadership team within our Utility Computing org. This person has a history of high performance, excellent attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, and the ability to plan ahead to meet tight deadlines - all while juggling multiple critical requests.A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (inside and outside of Amazon) is crucial, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and desire to take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills. You'll need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. In addition to executive assistant duties, this role also entails managing projects, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, adapting to changing priorities, and using AI-driven tools to solve problems and deliver value to the team. You will be expected to wear many hats, embrace continuous learning, and leverage technology to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Key job responsibilitiesInclude (but Is Not Limited To) Exceptional management of multiple complex calendars and scheduling requirements with diplomacy and discretion. Manage cost-effective domestic and international travel with detailed travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones) and submit expense reports in a timely fashion. Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner. Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and build processes to make their organizations happier and more effective. Partner with other Executive Assistants and build a network allow you to solve problems faster. Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.) Manage group logistics and team space (including moves and reconfigurations) Collaborate with Recruiting teams, Facilities teams, HR teams, and other Executive Assistants within the AWS and Amazon communities. Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items. You will act as the 'Lead EA's for all EAs in our team. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
