SALARY: \$66,855 - \$69,555 annually - commensurate with experienceREPORTS TO: Mayor, Chief of Staff or their designee SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITY: May supervise interns/volunteers as needed The Mayor\'soffice is seeking a motivated and talented Executive Assistant. TheIndividual Who Fills This Essential Position Will Perform Highlyresponsible administrative and clerical work that supports theoperations of the Mayor, the Chief of Staff, and the Mayor\'s office.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become involvedwith a variety of fascinating projects promoting the City\'s values,programs and initiatives. The position is non-unit and not eligible forremote work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs highly responsibleadministrative and clerical work supporting the operations of the Mayor,the Chief of Staff, and the Mayor\'s office. Acts as a confidentialadministrative assistant to the Mayor and Chief of Staff Relaysadministrative orders and information to department employees; preparescorrespondence. Oversees Contract administration. Acts as a liaison withother departments or agencies; prepares, by direction, correspondencerelative to the function of the department. Maintains departmentpersonnel records, preparation, and disbursement of payroll MaintainsOffice budget; purchase orders; requisitions. Communicates with vendors.Assists in preparing City Council Filings, when needed. Assists withMayoral Event Planning. Other Duties As Assigned. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT HIRE: Associate\'s Degree or advancedtraining; three (3) years of administrative experience; supervisoryexperience; municipal experience preferred; or an equivalent combinationof education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledgeof office administration and management practices. Knowledge of payrollpolicies and practices. Ability to prioritize assignments and workindependently. Ability to update and maintain records. Ability tocommunicate effectively in written and oral form. Basic accountingskills. Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
