you'll be supporting the founder & ceo of hyperliminal, we're a VC-backed tech startup building an online virtual world, based here in norwich. you'll be our 7th employee your job will be to step in, take chaos off my plate, reduce complexity, and just make my life lighter so i can focus on the things where i can be most impactful for the business. you will be a hyper important part of my life and the success of this company if you do this job well :)🔎 details:starting rate: £14/hourstarting hours: equivalent to 2 days a week (16 hours/week) to start, scope to eventually be full-time depending on impact & needplace of work: NR3 (near norwich playhouse, ~5m walk from town)hiring process: pass screening (this form) > in-person interview > hiredequity: everybody who works here owns a piece of the company; you will be given employee stock options⭐️ responsibilities:anticipate what needs doing and handle it without it being explicitly spelled outmanage calendars, travel, errands, comms, follow-upsperform and manage various admin tasks like light bookkeeping, company obligations, people opskeep me organised, on time, and focusedshield me from noise, filter what matters, escalate only the right stufffind creative, scrappy solutions to random problems, and then execute on them💁♂️ things you should know:this is not a “task list” job. it’s figure it out, make it happen, move fast. sometimes you’ll be booking travel, other times untangling messy logistics or finding a contractor at midnightyou’ll have access to a lot of my world. i need someone I can rely on completelyhigh autonomy: you’ll often be operating without much direction❤️ you’re probs perfect for this if:you’re insanely resourceful, high-agency, and proactiveyou get energy from solving problems and making someone else’s life easieryou can handle stress and chaos easilyyou’re organised but also scrappypeople find you kind, calming, and trustworthyyou wanna be involved in something immensely fun, that could impact millions of people, with probably some of the smartest people you've ever met (our team is cracked)you're clever and creative😶 this is NOT right for you if:you always need to be told what to doyou wait for permission instead of taking initiativeyou get easily overwhelmed, flustered, or defensiveyou are not prepared to occasionally work weird hours at fairly short notice or travel internationally if needed (we take each other's time very seriously here and are very respectful of it, but sometimes shit just needs to get done at a random time and we're all chill with that on occasion)you wanna work from home
