TGRC has partnered with a fast-growing and purpose-driven startup in the renewable energy and carbon capture space who are seeking an Executive Assistant / HR & Office Administrator to support its Senior Leadership Team and help shape a thriving, values-led company culture.With a headquarters in Hertfordshire and flexible hybrid working available, this is an opportunity to join an innovative organization that’s redefining how businesses approach sustainability.The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and passionate about people and culture, with a proven ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.Role OverviewThis is a hybrid role that blends personal assistant duties, HR administration, and office management. You’ll act as the operational heartbeat of the business, supporting senior leaders, managing internal processes, and helping to create a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture.This position requires someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, is confident handling sensitive information, and brings both structure and warmth to day-to-day operations.This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis (5 days per week with reduced daily hours).Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Team SupportProvide high-level PA support to senior leadership, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel bookings.Act as the first point of contact for internal and external communications.Support meeting preparation, take minutes, and track action points across key business functions.HR AdministrationCoordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in line with GDPR and employment regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Help foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.Office & Operations ManagementOversee day-to-day office operations in Harpenden, ensuring the workspace is efficient and welcoming.Manage office supplies, facilities, and relationships with service providers.Support remote working logistics and maintain seamless internal communication across distributed teams.Culture & EngagementDrive internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.Organize team events, wellbeing programmes, and recognition activities.Play an active role in shaping company culture and reinforcing core values.RequirementsProven experience in a similar position, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Discretion, integrity, and a proactive mindset.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.Passion for people, culture, and sustainability.
