Find out more about working with us .Key ResponsibilitiesIn line with the attached role description, the Executive Director - Regional Operations Officer will:Provide operational leadership for the Central Queensland or Metropolitan South region, including supervising and managing teams of regional officers who support state schools.Lead the alignment of regional strategic planning and governance processes with system expectations.Monitor service provision and identify opportunities to enhance the quality and responsiveness of regional services to meet school and system priorities.Build strong relationships with key internal and external partners to advance school and system priorities in line with the Department of Education Strategy.Support the Regional Director in all aspects of leadership, including local emergency management preparedness and response activities.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Significant experience leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.Proven ability to manage resources effectively, including human, financial, and physical resources.Strong governance and corporate knowledge, with the ability to apply these skills in an educational context.A demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse teams to deliver high-quality, responsive support to schools and early childhood settings.Mandatory RequirementsWhen working in regulated employment, an employee may be required to have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.How To ApplyClick Apply Online and provide the following:A brief resume, including contact details for two referees (referees should understand your relevant work history).A two-page statement outlining your suitability for the role according to the role description.Once you have uploaded your resume and completed the initial applicant questions, please select ‘Next' to complete the eligibility and location preference questionnaire.Applications remain current for 12 months from the closing date and may be considered for appointment to identical or similar vacancies within the Department.Occupational group Executive
