You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.A Brief OverviewLeads global strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives for direct and indirect costs, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions to maximize value. Directs international vendor negotiations and oversees technology sourcing in a secure, compliant, and efficient process, resulting in timely onboarding of qualified vendors. The Director will align sourcing strategies with enterprise objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while promoting supply chain resilience and performance. This is a global functional role, seated in India and interacts with the CXO level leaders of Trinet.What You Will DoStrategic Sourcing & Category ManagementLead sourcing initiatives globally across direct and indirect categories (IT, professional services, facilities, mission-critical systems).Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.Drive transformative sourcing projects using best-in-class tools and analytics.Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.Analyze international market trends to forecast procurement needs and cost-saving opportunities.Supplier Relationship & Risk ManagementEstablish and manage strategic supplier partnerships to support long-term success.Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions.Drive supply chain risk management and resiliency planning.Oversee global procurement operations ensuring alignment with regulatory requirementsCross-Functional Collaboration & GovernancePartner with Business Groups, IT, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Compliance to align sourcing strategies.Ensure procurement operations meet regulatory, policy, and governance requirements.Present sourcing strategies and performance metrics to executive leadership.Team Leadership & DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing team of sourcing professionals.Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement with inptu form the business stakeholders.Drive transformative supply chain and sourcing projects deploying best-in-class tools and processes.Ensure effective, secure and compliant procurement processes across geographiesPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field requiredMaster's Degree Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS): Business Administration or related field, preferredExperience QualificationsTypically 15+ years overall 18+ years of progressive Experience in global strategic sourcing and procurement with at least 5 years in a leadership role requiredTypically 3+ years Experience in global supplier relationship management. requiredExperience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives in a complex matrixed environment. requiredWorking in a GCC or GBS serving the US market procurement, Proven success in supplier relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and transformation initiatives. requiredSkills And AbilitiesStrategic & AnalyticalStrategic PlanningCost AnalysisMarket ResearchAnalytical ThinkingGlobal view-pointOperational & TechnicalSupply Chain ManagementVendor ManagementContract ManagementRisk ManagementLeadership & CommunicationNegotiationCommunicationTeam LeadershipStakeholder EngagementLicenses and CertificationsProcure-to-Pay (P2P) preferredCertified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferredASA Certified Sourcing Professional preferredCertified Negotiations Expert preferredCPM - Certification By The Institute For Supply Management preferredTravel RequirementsMinimalWork EnvironmentWork in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office work setting.
