JOB SUMMARYThe Executive | Group Reporting supports the consolidation and financial reporting processes for EPF and its group of subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS/MFRS and internal policies. The Executive plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, assisting in performance analysis, and supporting audit and regulatory requirements. The position also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting systems and processes and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial insights that support strategic decision-making.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Group Financial Reporting & ConsolidationAssist in the preparation and consolidation of Group financial statements in compliance with IFRS/MFRS and EPF’s internal accounting policies.Support the year-end and interim closing processes by coordinating data submissions from subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures.Prepare and post consolidation adjustments and manual journal entries in the consolidation system (e.g., SAP BPC).Perform reconciliation of intercompany transactions, balances and assist in resolving mismatches.2. Financial Performance Analysis & ReportingCompile and analyse financial data to support Group’s financial performance reporting.Prepare analysis and summary reports on the financial performance of subsidiaries and strategic investments for internal stakeholders, including the Investment Division, Audit Committees, and Board members.Assist in the preparation of materials and participate for investment-related meetings and provide financial input as required.3. Technical Review & Policy ComplianceReview supporting documentation for significant intercompany transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy.Prepare and analyse the impairment testing and fair value assessments of investments and shareholder loans.Ensure consistent application of group accounting policies and support reporting entities in interpreting accounting treatments.4. Regulatory Reporting & Audit ManagementCoordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes, ensuring timely provision of required documentation.Support the preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory financial disclosures.5. Reporting Systems & Process ImprovementMaintain and update group financial reporting tools and templates to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with IT and finance system teams to support improvements in financial systems and automation initiativesJOB REQUIREMENTSPossess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent which is recognized by the Government from any local or abroad higher learning institution recognised by the Malaysian government.Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent) is an added advantage.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including group reporting, consolidation, and external audit interface.Strong knowledge of IFRS, MFRS, group consolidation, and investment accounting.Familiar with impairment testing, fair value measurement, and intercompany reconciliationsExperience with consolidation and reporting tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Hyperion), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across functions and business units.Malaysian citizen.Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.PLACEMENTStatutory Reporting Unit, Performance & Reporting Section, Finance DepartmentJOB STATUSPermanentAll applications are strictly CONFIDENTIAL and only shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview.
