Role PurposeProvide the strategic direction for the development and execution of the (Segment’s) value proposition, aligned to the overall business value chain as a leading provider of products and services. The Executive Head is responsible for positioning the business as a leading provider in its domain, ensuring strategic alignment with the Group impact strategy.RequirementsPost graduate degree in Health related field, Finance and/or Business SciencesExecutive leadership qualification preferrable10 years experience in the Health industry services, Experience with Corporate clients in the Medical Scheme Administration business5 years experience at crafting solutions at C-Suite level10 years experience in senior management leading a businessDuties and ResponsibilitiesDrive the strategic direction of the (segment) - (internal process)Define and lead the strategic direction and operating model for the (segment)and develop an aligned value chain in relation to the organisation’s mandate.Lead the design and development of an optimal and fit for purpose operating model that ensures that the (Segment) is supported by the appropriate capabilities.Identify clients' needs/ challenges and develop solutions utilising the full CVP of the business to address the identified needsTake accountability for achieving the new business targets for the segment, including the Incentivised Wellness targetsOversee the implementation and maintenance of the Client Value Proposition (CVP), products and solutions in order to diversify product offering and increase the profitability of Corporate clients and restricted schemesDrive digital transformation and strategic impact by applying strategic foresight, business acumen, and enterprise leadership to shape the business direction and deliver long-term outcomes.Keep abreast of best practices and competitor landscape to inform the development of strategies and tactics that maintain business competitiveness. .Develop and oversee the implementation of competitive pricing strategies to drive short term profitability and long-term business growth and shareholder value.Drive the optimisation of operational strategies in order to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline operations to ensure the client receives optimal service.Drive operational efficiency and eliminate inefficiencies.Identify opportunities to leverage off strategic relationships to expand and build new growth opportunities.Oversee the creation and maintenance of a client engagement strategy in order to provide clarity regarding the parameters to optimally engage and provide services to clients.Implement and manage practices that continuously grow the market and position the message through the correct mediums and channels.Provide the thought leadership for the creation, implementation and maintenance of capabilities, products and solutions to diversify product offering and profitability with corporate clients.Maintain and grow our share of the market in Corporate Segment by executing our value proposition to existing and prospective clients.Drive a client centric culture - (Client Services)Develop client centric solutions that address clients' needs at a sustainable price pointMonitor the financial sustainability of schemes under the purview of the Corporate Segment and develop corrective measures as neededBuild and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Influence service models to ensure client satisfaction and fair treatment.Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustmentsRepresent client viewpoints and use market intelligence to realign strategies.Align service offerings with evolving client needs.Promote a client-centric culture and superior service delivery.Contribute to the design of client journeys and feedback mechanisms.Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibilityParticipate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client serviceEffectively lead team -
