Job Description
Key Responsibilities:• Source and purchase raw materials such as wood, fabric, foam, hardware, andother components.• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers.• Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.• Coordinate closely with production teams to forecast material needs.• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.• Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and industrystandards.• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily furniture deliveries to customers, dealers, andshowrooms.• Assign delivery routes and monitor drivers to ensure timely and efficient service.• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or specialinstructions.• Track vehicle movements using GPS or transport management systems (TMS).• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure transport compliance withcompany standards and road safety regulations.• Maintain and update delivery logs, transport records, and customer delivery notes.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree Or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or related field.• Proven experience (min.2 years) in procurement, preferably in the furniture ormanufacturing industry.• Strong negotiation and communication skills.• Knowledge of raw materials used in furniture production.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software .• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
