EnergyAustralia is currently building out multiple squads to ensure successful delivery of the Customer Department Transformation program. The backbone of this program is a new core billing system implementation which will usher in a modern way of working within the department, allowing for continued value for our customers.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an Experience Designer who will be responsible for designing intuitive, data-informed digital experiences that support the CTX Digital Roadmap and Customer Transformation Program (CTX). This includes:Designing end-to-end customer journeys that enhance self-service, simplify assisted interactions, and drive consistent experiences across web and appEmbedding human-centred design principles and data-driven insights into all discovery and delivery activitiesCollaborating with digital squads, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business objectives and platform capabilities into seamless, reusable design solutionsContributing to the ongoing development of the design system and reusable components to ensure scalability and consistency across channelsEnsuring design artefacts are documented, version-controlled, and integrated within delivery toolsets (e.g., Figma, Jira, Confluence)What We Are Looking ForThe Experience Designer is accountable for leading and embedding human-centred design processes that enable effective digital delivery – to be successful you will need most of the following:Tertiary qualification in UX design or similar related experience.5+ years UX Lead experience.Experience leading Experience Design in the utilities industryProven ability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive customer experiencesHighly skilled in Figma with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 knowledge.Understanding of regulatory and compliance constraints in energy retail (billing, hardship, CDR, etc.)Resilient, with proven ability to manage organisational ambiguity in a matrix environment.Strong communication skills, with proven ability to influence without control.How To ApplyIf you’re ready to ‘light the way’ towards your next career move, click the 'Apply’ button to submit a confidential application.
