Experienced CNC Setup Technician

Who We AreIDEA Machine Development is a leading Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) specializing in the design, development, and production of electro-optical and precision systems.Our company serves global market leaders in the semiconductor, digital printing, and medical device industries.With over 250 employees across Israel and China, IDEA combines innovation, technology, and operational excellence to deliver world-class solutions.About the RoleWe are looking for experienced and high-quality CNC Setup TechnicianIf you’re looking for a technological challenge, professional leadership opportunities, and a dynamic work environment – your place is with us!Job Description:Full responsibility for the setup process: reading complex drawings, understanding customer requirements (including GD&T), and assembling required tooling.Setting up CNC milling machines (3 and 4 axes).Running the first article (FAI): loading the program, running the first part, and performing initial inspection.Handling quality feedback: performing offset and tool adjustments until achieving a fully compliant part.Responsibility for serial production: operating the machine for short and medium series (from single units up to ~100 parts).Daily collaboration with programmers, quality inspectors, and production managers.Requirements (Must):Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC setup technician – mandatory.High-level ability to read complex drawings, including proven understanding of GD&T.Proven experience operating 3- and 4-axis milling machines.Good technical English (for reading drawings and specs).Personal Skills:High level of organization, precision, and attention to detail.Excellent teamwork skills.Proactive, curious, and eager to continuously learn and improve.Motivated to challenge yourself and improve processes daily.Strong Advantages:Experience with turning machines.Experience with Mill-Turn combined machines.Experience working with OKUMA and/or MAZAK, and familiarity with FANUC control systems.📍 Location: Gan Shlomo (near Rehovot)Employment Type: Full-timeThis position is open to all genders.
