Job Summary:The People & Culture Generalist supports People & Culture practices and objectives that foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. This position coordinates the implementation of services, policies, and programs, and assists and advises employees regarding People & Culture issues. The People & Culture Generalist serves as a regional point of contact for all People & Culture related matters and supports assigned region(s) with day-to-day operations, including regional and local training, field operations, compliance, and campus and experienced recruiting.Job Duties:Partners with regional People & Culture Managers, Director, and team to develop and drive the implementation of national, regional, and local People & Culture services, programs, and policiesProvides advice and counsel to regional and local leadership and management teams within assigned officesParticipates in the annual internal quality control inspection processParticipates in quarterly forecasting with regional Finance Directors and ManagersPartners with Training and Development (T&D) to identify and analyze training and professional development needs of all regional and local professionalsAttends local management and scheduling meetings to identify gaps in development, training, and/or headcount and resource needsPartners with regional People & Culture Managers and Director to ensure all employee relations matters are handled in a professional, appropriate, and legally compliant mannerEnsures employee issues and requests are routed to and followed up on by the appropriate People & Culture representative and/or teamCollaborates with People & Culture Managers to facilitate performance feedback, career counseling, and goal setting processes, including calibration meetingsFacilitates the on-boarding process, including making a strong connection with new hires, preparing new hire announcements, coordinating on-boarding specifics with administrative professionals, and collaborating with Training & Development and People & Culture Managers to monitor completion of new hire paperworkCollaborates with Compliance Office, T&D, and local CPE coordinators to monitor employee and partner compliance with required training and waivers/deferrals as neededSupports Talent Acquisition team in the regional campus and experienced recruitment process, including collaborating with recruiting members to assist in the facilitation of hiring processes, workforce planning, supporting secondee and immigration processes, maintaining applicant files, communicating with applicants, scheduling interviews, tracking metrics, updating position descriptions, reviewing background checks, and facilitating strong internship experiencesAttends and/or leads campus and experienced recruiting eventsAssists in the identification and selection of qualified client service professionalsAssists with evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of office(s) and region in relation to established goalsContributes to the development and implementation of People & Culture metrics, analyzes data, and provides recommendationsServes as a resource in retrieving needed reports from People & Culture Information Systems teamRecommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of services performedConducts exit interviews and assists in the overall employee exit processProvides necessary personnel information to the People & Culture Resource Center to facilitate regional and local occurrences of hiring, data changes, and terminationsAudits and updates employee data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulationsParticipates in projects with People & Culture Information Systems functional areas including, but not limited to, People & Culture, People & Culture Information Systems, Talent Acquisition, T&D, and Total RewardsOther duties as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:NoneQualifications, Skills, and Abilities:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, requiredTwo (2) years of broad-based HR generalist experience, requiredProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, required if no bachelor’s degreeFive (5) years of broad-based HR generalist experience and PHR certification, required if no bachelor’s degreeExperience:Experience working in a professional services organization, preferredExperience with multisite locations, preferredCertifications:Professional in Human Resources (PHR), required if no bachelor’s degreeLicensure:N/ASoftware:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, requiredPeopleSoft HR experience, preferredApplicant tracking systems experience, preferredLanguage:Bilingual English / SpanishOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:In-depth knowledge of HR policies and practicesExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong analytic and diagnostic skillsExcellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detailStrong project and time management skillsStrong sense of ownership for project assignments and regional
