If you're looking to make an impact and thrive as part of a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities Include:Prepare and review Federal and State tax returns for individuals, businesses, nonprofits, partnerships, and trustsEnsure tax filings are accurate, timely, complete, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsProvide strategic tax planning and projections tailored to each client’s unique situationWork with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, affordable housing, and closely-held/family-owned businessesStay up-to-date with firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and state CPA society’s Code of Professional Conduct, rules, and regulationsMaintain knowledge and compliance with FASB, AICPA, GAO, and GASB standards, as well as the latest federal and state tax lawsManage multiple projects and engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectationsBuild strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues, delivering exceptional service and supportProactively identify challenges and implement effective solutionsFoster a collaborative team environment to achieve client and firm objectivesCoach and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional growth and developmentEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in accounting4-6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, supervisor/manager levelCPA license or eligibility preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills (timely, effective, complete)Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and accounting standardsAbility to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projectsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projectsExperience with CCH Axcess tax software, CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement, CCH Workflow as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageFlexible schedule and hybrid optionsProfessional development opportunitiesHealthy work-life balanceSupportive family-friendly, team environmentMeaningful client relationships and diverse project work
