Job Description: Expert Test Engineer Location & Duration Work Location: brussel Start Date: March 1, 2026 End Date: February 28, 2031 Work Regime: Full-time Estimated Hours: 9,000 On-Call Duty: Required (details TBD) Experience & Seniority Required Experience: 5–10 years Seniority Level: Senior (Expert Test Lead profile) Key Responsibilities Participate in multiple projects related to the Signalling Design Platform and ETCS (European Train Control System). Join a small Agile/Scrum team of testers. Conduct manual and automated tests for Java-based applications. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity principles and Infrabel/ICT standards. Proactively contribute to business goals with a strong user-oriented approach. Collaborate closely with business teams in a multicultural environment. Ensure traceability and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Maintain rigorous documentation to support project auditability and quality assurance. Technical Skills Languages: French or Dutch: A1 (Beginner) English: C1 (Advanced/Professional) Testing Experience: Automated Testing: ≥10 years (Level 4) Manual Testing: ≥10 years (Level 4) Tools: Jira: ≥5 years (Level 3) Xray: ≥2 years (Level 2) Ranorex: Some experience (Level 1) HP-ALM / HP-UFT: ≥5 years (Level 3) Selenium: ≥2 years (Level 2) Certifications & Standards: ISTQB Certified Knowledge of at least one of the following standards: ISO 9001 (Quality) EN 50.128 (Signalling) ISO 27001 / NIS (Security) Methodologies: Agile/Scrum: ≥2 years experience (Level 2) Soft Skills Understand Infrabel’s mission, IT landscape, and role-specific challenges.
