If you are detail-oriented, solution-focused, and passionate about high-quality equipment design, this is the role for you.You define and propose concepts for mechanical prototypes and test units to ensure feasibility according to functional requirements. You translate process concepts into functional working processes/modules. You study agronomics concerning operators and service personnel. You engage in 3D modeling of new equipment. You liaise with suppliers, place orders, and follow up on parts used in prototypes and equipment. You support the assembly and testing of prototypes and equipment. You contribute to the continuous improvement of existing equipment and report enhancements within the mechanical engineering team.What are we looking for?You hold an MSc in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. You have at least 5-10 years of experience in developing and designing high-quality equipment with challenging process requirements. You possess excellent knowledge in machine construction and process-related aspects. You are creative, quality-driven, and passionate about equipment design, demonstrating a strong conceptual approach. You have a strong safety awareness and consistently practice good environmental discipline. You are fluent in English and Dutch (reading, writing, speaking); proficiency in French is a plus.
