Export and Bond Controller

Location: Head OfficeSpecificationsEnsure compliance with export regulations and maintaining knowledge of shipping documents and procedures.Prepare clearing instructions for exports and imports shipments.Inspection and releasing of export documentation.Road export experience essential.Sound knowledge of incoterms.Export and imports documentation procedures (Customs, shipping line TPT, etc).Permits application for export countries.Understanding and knowledge of operational procedures.Check calculation of duty, VAT & ATV (Quality Control).Comply with the customs terms regarding bonds in respect of removal in bond transit of stated goods.Manage all aspects of stock on inbound receiving and outbound dispatches.Perform cycle counts and monthly stocks takes, and resolve any identified discrepancies.Co-ordinating and controlling movements of all bonded stock.Prepare monthly bond report and bond inventory management.Sound knowledge of bond and acquittal procedures.Knowledge of controlled goods and procedures.Ensure suppliers accounts are up to date.Prepare weekly export and bond report.RequirementsMatric Certificate or HigherAny Qualification in Imports, Exports and LogisticsMinimum 2-3 years bonded warehousing and Customs experienceWorking knowledge of export documentationKnowledge of the export process for different countriesExperience within motor industry advantageExcellent in Microsoft OfficeCode 10 licence
