The project is recognized as a key initiative under China’s Belt and Road framework and as a national strategic project by the Indonesian government, underscoring its importance to regional industrial growth.Job RoleThe EXIM Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's export and import activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a strong understanding of logistical processes, documentation, and financial coordination with banks, traders, and government authorities. The specialist will play a strategic role in aligning export-import operations with the company’s supply chain goals, supporting seamless material flow and enhancing operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesExport Operations:Manage day-to-day export processes, ensuring timely shipment scheduling and coordination.Monitor and reconcile export-related transactions to support income tracking and healthy cash flow.Documentation ManagementPrepare, review, and submit shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, BLs, COOs) to financial institutions and stakeholders.Ensure timely submission of ETDs and document updates via internal systems and SiMoDIS.Market SupportAssist in gathering market and pricing data to support procurement and sales planning.Maintain export data records and assist in generating periodic performance summaries.Stakeholder RelationsCoordinate with traders, forwarders, and financial institutions for smooth transaction flows.Support cross-functional communication with warehousing, procurement, and finance.Vendor Coordination: Support service quality reviews and performance tracking of external logistics partners and vendors.Logistics Planning: Coordinate loading/unloading schedules, customs clearance timing, and export routing in line with shipment plans.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all export documents comply with Indonesian regulations and international trade requirements.Reporting: Maintain accurate records for customs audits and company reporting requirements.Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate operational delays, document inconsistencies, or customs bottlenecks to senior staff or department leads.Candidate RequirementsEducation: Minimum Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, handling Export-Import.At least 3 years experience in similar or relevant industries.Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics, export-import management, or related fields are an advantage.Languages: English and Mandarin.Technical Expertise:Export-Import Regulations: Knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and export-import documentation.Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Proficiency in route planning, fleet management, warehouse coordination, and logistics optimization.Financial Acumen: Understanding of cash flow management, income tracking, and budget oversight in export operations.Market Research: Ability to analyze market trends and data for strategic decision-making in commodity trading.Documentation & Reporting Tools: Experience with shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice) and reporting tools for regulatory bodies.ERP & Trade Management Software: Proficiency in systems like SAP, Oracle, or specialized export/import platforms.Job Code: #385
