We work together across our full spectrum of services and skills so that business, people and the planet can thrive together.Together, all in, to build a better working world.IFRS Desk Manager – İstanbul & AnkaraWe are seeking for a IFRS Desk Manager to join our Assurance – Audit and Accounting Services team in Istanbul or Ankara with the following qualifications;What We Look ForStrong academic background, including Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit, technical accounting, or advisory servicesStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and Turkish local GAAP (TFRS/BOBI FRS).In-depth understanding of financial reporting regulationsCompliance with and understanding of regulatory requirementsEnglish language skills - excellent written and verbal communicationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsProfessional accountancy qualification (SMMM, CPA, SPK) will be assetYour Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality technical IFRS support and guidance to engagement teams and clientsReview and assess financial statements for compliance with IFRS and local GAAPInterpret new and complex IFRS standards and assess their implications for clientsContribute to the development of EY publications, training sessions, and tools related to IFRSCollaborate with global IFRS desks and industry specialists on technical consultationsMonitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and assist in assessing their impact on EY clientsDevelop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staffWhat We Offer YouAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
