Job Description

Assist in the smooth running of the facilities by resolving complex technical issues to ensure highest quality of service delivery to clients and providing support to Facilities Manager to meet budgets, efficient client reporting and managing the team on site.Responsibilities:Own the process of keeping the information of the assets up to date and coordinate with the Asset Management team. To ensure all FLS and third party inspections occur without fail prior to the expiration date of the relevant certification. To ensure the highest professional standards are adhered to by all technical staff when executing works. To ensure personnel performance management takes place at the stipulated periodicity. To comply with the governance and reporting model implemented in the properties. To review maintenance schedules and strategies periodically with the Facility Manager in order to reduce reactive responses and minimize downtime by being proactive and predictive. To lead and mentor the technical team.Management of the maintenance plan and quality of the delivery.Management of third party services and compliance with the performance management system.Ensure site(s)/facility(ies) are compliant with local laws, regulations and codes and (where applicable) international laws, regulations and codes.Ensure scoping for site works is sufficiently detailed, regardless of value, to ensure contractors approached have enough information to provide an accurate quotation for works without the requirement to visit site, where possible.To perform and/or execute any duties, works, instructions or tasks as directed by management.Educational Qualifications and Skills required: Engineering degree from a well reputed University or equivalent with atleast 6-7 years of experience. UAE Driver’s License (preferred but not mandatory)Ability to work with others on a team to accomplish goalsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, maintain detailed and accurate records, and prepare clear and concise written reportsAbility to conduct appraisals and performance manage staff
