Role DescriptionDevelop, update, and manage comprehensive project timelines using Gantt charts and project management software to ensure the timely delivery of all construction, renovation, and infrastructure upgrade projects.Prepare detailed in-house estimates for labor, materials, and equipment, contributing to accurate budgeting, procurement planning, and overall cost efficiency.Lead the full lifecycle of special projects from planning and design to execution and turnover while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory codes, and quality standards.Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to sustain the facility’s structural soundness, aesthetic condition, and operational reliability.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, consultants, and third-party contractors for the execution of renovations, fit-outs, and technical installations.Facilitate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency preparedness programs including drills, response strategies, and infrastructure support systems.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including permits, as-built plans, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and government regulatory files.Ensure that all facility records including updated as-built plans, permits from local government units (LGUs), and interdepartmental clearances are organized, accessible, and current.Drive the planning and successful implementation of facility upgrades aligned with hospital expansion, operational efficiency, and sustainability goals.Manage the design, construction, and commissioning of new clinical and administrative spaces, ensuring adherence to healthcare industry standards.Oversee the proper installation of mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural systems, guaranteeing compliance with national and international standards.Prepare and present detailed project reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to proactively address challenges and minimize delays.Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to ensure proper implementation, value engineering, and design functionality.Engage stakeholders in the planning process to gather operational requirements and deliver optimized, user-centered facility solutions.Champion compliance with occupational safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations across all construction and operational phases.QualificationsMust possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineer or Architecture.Strong proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp & other relevant design software and Microsoft Office programs.Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and effectively manage construction and technical personnel.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, especially in high-pressure or critical scenarios.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must exhibit leadership, integrity, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
