The OpportunityFacilities Manager is responsible for the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.How You´ll Make An ImpactBudget: Provides information for developing annual operating and capital expenditure (OPEX and CAPEX) plans and budgets.Financial Performance: Manages the financial performance of real estate facilities at locations under their responsibility to achieve or exceed committed performance levels. Manages assets cost-effectively to ensure profitability, productivity, and flexibility.Project Planning and Execution: Identifies and defines the scope of potential projects, performs risk assessments and cost estimates, and prepares project schedule estimates. Manages all projects based on Hitachi Energy standards.Energy Efficiency: Ensures that the properties/facilities and services under their responsibility are managed and monitored to maximize building energy efficiency, conducts assessments, and recommends energy reduction solutions.Repair and Maintenance: Manages building-related repair and maintenance activities to standards, ensuring the facility operates safely and efficiently, maximizing equipment life, reducing the risk of failure, and meeting obligations.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelinesYour BackgroundBachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Production, Business Administration or Architecture Engineering.Experienced in corporate real estateKnowledge of construction systems and electrical air conditioning systems.Knowledge and management of infrastructure service contracts and management of contract SLAs and KPIs.Management of construction and office improvements.Management of the operating budget for infrastructure projects.Knowledge of occupational safety related to HSE processes and regulatory standards for office electrical systems.Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.Knowledge in SAPIntermediate English is required.100% on-site work in Barracas, Buenos Aires.More About UsContinuous improvement cultureGrowth GloballyBalance Work/LifeHybridBenefits above the lawHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
