What You'll Be DoingLead daily operations of the Central Utility Plant to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery. Supervise and mentor a team of skilled technicians in the maintenance and repair of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, switchgear, and other critical infrastructure. Conduct inspections, analyze performance reports, and resolve issues before they become problems. Ensure compliance with all regulatory codes, including OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and relevant DoD standards. Oversee chemical treatment programs and equipment calibration to keep systems operating at peak performance. Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and government officials to meet all contract and safety requirements.
Be available during normal duty hours and respond quickly to emergencies during non-duty hours. What You Bring To The TableMinimum 3 years of Central Utility Plant operations experience, including team supervision. Associate degree or higher in a technical or applied science field (Preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy plant operations, and applicable regulatory codes. Proven ability to troubleshoot, lead, and get the job done under pressure. Experience supporting government contracts or military installations a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain base clearance.
