Factory Manager - BarkingSalary: 50,000-55,000 per annumHours: 40 hours per week (Sunday-Friday, flexibility required)About The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead our production teams specialising in Food in Barking. You'll ensure all orders are produced on time, in full, and to our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.This is a hands-on leadership role-you'll be visible on the factory floor, supporting, developing, and motivating your teams across Low Risk, High Care, and Kitchen Preparation areas.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day factory operations to achieve production targets.Drive performance against KPIs for quality, productivity, and safety.Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and supervisors.Maintain strong communication across departments (Procurement, Technical, NPD, Supply Chain).Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and audit standards.Control budgets, resources, and labour to meet business needs.About YouProven experience in manufacturing or food production management.Strong leadership and people development skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience desirable.Calm under pressure, organised, and detail-focused.What We OfferCompetitive salary: 50,000-55,00028 days holiday (rising to 33 with service)Annual pay reviews and pension planRetail discounts, healthcare cash plan, and EAPAdditional benefits with serviceWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
