Working with multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll use tools like PLM, CAD (NX), and DFMEA to deliver cost-effective solutions that consider the full product lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate across engineering disciplines, including Verification, Manufacturing, and Services.Ensure design solutions are resilient to the operating environment.Apply systems engineering, robust design, optimization, integration, and innovative tools and processes to develop solutions.Define mechanical and functional systems, sub-systems, and components to meet customer requirements; address validation issues and support in-service operations.Take technical responsibility for solutions throughout the technical approval process.Qualifications3-15 years of experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering; other qualifications with relevant experience may be considered.Strong understanding of Gas Turbine Compressors design processes and methods.Proficient with digital design tools for 3D parametric modeling, analysis, and design automation.Experience in Robust Design, Design for Manufacture (DfM), and Systems Engineering is advantageous.Highly numerate with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Our vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
